I know exactly what you are talking about! My kids take about 70 photos of themselves at a time – or of cupboards or their shoes. I like your kids subject choice! I decided to give my daughter my phone at my Dad’s birthday and she took great pics of everyone there and then we made it into a collage to send to everyone. The expressions on each of their faces would never have been achieved if it was me taking the photos.
It’s true that they take the most intersting photos. I’m sure your daughter’s photos were quite candid…maybe adults feel more at ease in front of a camera held by a kid. Or maybe we all just look better taken from a lower height?

they have an instinctive sense of interesting and worth observing. Animals definitely are a priority for them.
