Casa

16 Apr

Back in rainy Italy and happy to be home.  We’re all suffering from some pretty serious jet-lag though (everyone up and ready for breakfast at 3:30am).

We spent the day unpacking, sorting through our Japanese souvenirs, doing laundry and talking a lot about our Japan adventures.

After two weeks of delicious Japanese food we had a typical Italian lunch of mozzarella and tomato salad, prosciutto, assorted cheeses and bread.  It was delicious.

It’s always great to travel and see the world but it’s also great to come back home.

Jillian, I have so loved every single one of your Japan posts.
    The pictures were amazing.
I have never really thought about traveling to Japan, but after your posts, I want very badly to go.
Thank you so much for taking me along with you.
    Welcome home!
    Love from,
    Greta

Hi Greta, I’m so glad to hear you enjoyed the Japan posts. It was really an amazing trip. And so kid friendly! I would definitely suggest taking your family one day (maybe when your little guy is a bit older). Greetings from a rainy Italy, J

Just wait until your little guy dresses up like a ninja Kat. I have to admit that I kinda like the play sword fights that we have. And I ain’t that bad if I do say so myself…

Oh, that picture of your lunch looks so yummy – I want to dive in and gobble it up! I agree, it’s so wonderful to travel, and so wonderful to come back home to what is familiar. Thanks so much for sharing your trip!

It was very tasty. And the basil came from my garden which made it that much tastier! Glad you enjoyed our trip as well!

Welkom terug in Italie.
